About Mr. Daryll

Mr. Daryll began playing trumpet as a 6th grader. He played all through middle school and high school where he was active in marching band, concert band, symphony orchestra, and musical theater. Daryll also played in District Honor band. He auditioned for and played in the Atlanta Olympic Band, with performances in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta.

Mr. Daryll attended LaGrange College where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Creative Music Technologies. While at LaGrange, he won First Prize in the Goliard Composition Competition. He served as assistant music director of Grease, and as the sound technician for the weekly Chapel Band.

Afterwards, Mr. Daryll attended Western Carolina University to study Music Education. At WCU, Daryll played in the Pride of the Mountains Marching Band, where he served as Electronics Coordinator. He performed with the Pride at the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California.

Mr. Daryll has since transferred to Piedmont University to continue his study of Music Education. He enjoys playing in the Wind Ensemble and other chamber groups as the opportunity arises.
